Jamaican Thought for the Day: Don’t worry
Jamaicans by nature are not worriers. Think of the Bob Marley song, Don’t worry about a thing, because every little thing is going to be alright.
Even our proverbs embrace that concept.
Jamaican Saying: Poun’ a fret c’aan pay for ounce a debt
Translation: A pound of fretting (or worrying) cannot pay for an ounce of debt.
Meaning: It does little good to worry. All that worry does not erase your problems so you may as well come up with a better solution. Find a way to make the best of your situation.

Til next time.
Think and dream Jamaica.
