Mais Oui provides one of the best family vacations someone can ask for. We just got home from a 7 night stay at Mais Oui and the owners and staff exceeded all of our expectations. Sherry and Darrel made sure every part of our trip was covered and that we would feel comfortable and safe at their home. The staff is top notch. Johnson, our butler, made the entire family feel comfortable and ensured all needs were met. Davin, the chef, was top notch and never made a meal we didn't enjoy thoroughly. We were able to have tastes of Jamaica with every meal, but also had some American food in case the kiddos or picky eaters didn't care for the fare. Christina is an amazing server and made us feel right at home. Nineka, the house keeper, kept our rooms and the house impeccably clean. We really enjoyed coming in each day to a new towel animal. Sandra did a bang up job cleaning up after all of us daily, and Brent kept the grounds phenomenal looking and even brought out a jump house for the kids to play on. This home has everything for everyone. Look no further if you are wanting a true Jamaican experience and have everything you could ask for on a vacation. Mais Oui is definitely a place we will be booking for years to come! Also, make sure to ask for Senior Smith as your tour guide. He was always on time and guaranteed we had an amazing Jamaican experience for this trip!
We just stayed here for 7 days. Everything was amazing! The house was incredible, the food was amazing, the staff at the house was top notch. We loved everything about this trip and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for making this an unforgettable trip.❤️
Darrell was an incredible host - super responsive and willing to bend over backwards to accommodate me and my 13 friends. The premises were unbelievable and I am already trying to figure out excuses to return back. The staff was equally incredible, from chef to butler to housekeeping services. Highly recommend if you can book it!
Our stay at Mais Oui Villa was incredibly special. The original plan for a quiet getaway with our closest friends became a much more memorable event because of the vision and insight of the owners and staff. The property is pristine, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, and is complemented by amenities such as an enclosed outdoor pool with hot tub, tennis/basketball court, gazebo with water feature, garden of Jamaican herbs, elevated decks with expansive views of the ocean, a treehouse, as well as a spa with private soaking tub and outdoor shower. The accommodations were impeccably clean, spacious and comfortable, with couples having access to private space in which to relax and reconnect when not interacting with other guests. There is air conditioning for those who need a respite from the warm tropical weather. The villa’s proximity to more intimate and authentic Jamaican experiences is invaluable. Mr. S. Smith, who was our designated driver and tour guide, was professional, prompt and personable. His contribution to our experience cannot be minimized. The villa staff is led by Mr. D. Johnson, the villa’s butler. The attention to detail cannot be overstated, with the quality of meals and housekeeping extras (such as a surprise warm bath drawn at the end of a long day of celebration) being among the personal touches that made our stay so memorable. The pièce de resistance of our visit was a formal celebration dinner which was perfectly executed. Our group is incredibly energized by the memories created by our time together at Mais Oui Villa. Thanks to the owners and staff for caring for us so well! We recommend very highly!!
I experienced the splendors of Mais Oui with a group of Sisterfriends and there was not one disappointment. Johnson, the house manager, anticipated every need for our group of 12 women. Every person who assisted us was kind, personable and courteous. We shared lots of laughs! The grounds are breathtaking. I spent time in the herb garden each morning meditating surrounded by lush mango trees. The view from the balconies are priceless. Johnson skillfully made signature drinks catered to each of us and truly ensured every moment exuded luxury. The beds and linens were exemplary. The cleaning staff made turn down service a joy with mints and towel animals. Chef Shonna(sp) blew us away daily with every meal. The French toast, the ackee, the salt fish, the snapper, I can go on and on. Again from arrival to departure was phenomenal. I am looking to plan a family event soon. Mais Ouis is definitely my top choice.
Detailed review—— My group was in the age range of 24-35 a mix of women and men. A few couples and the rest single. A group of 18. Amenities: paddle boarding, tennis court, hot tub (only two tanks), basketball court, mini mini golfing, spa day(separate payment), board games, card games, (like small air hockey table) video games (like Wii&PlayStation) Karaoke, pool, free wifi, pool table upstairs, tree house (with ac) with adjacent swing and slide. All of which we used to it’s fullest minus the game consoles and the tree house. Staff/ Hospitality: the staff is what makes this small villa better than an all inclusive. I’ve been to soooo many inclusive resorts, and they are almost all the same. But the staff here, made it so much more personalized by catering to everyone’s needs individually. Food: my group was all ready to go for the food bit, but then quickly realized it was more than they can handle. So we had to be on a budget. The chef came the next morning to coordinate the meals for us (Bfast, lunch, dinner) we ended up doing like 4 bfast, 2 lunches and 4 dinners which would worked great for us. Location: the location isn’t the most convenient but with Senior, the driver the host recommends, was the absolute best. I’m not going to lie, I definitely went to look for a cheaper driver since Seniors prices was a tad pricey, but it was completely worth it at the end because Senior did MORE than any other driver would. I couldn’t take out cash, Senior was there to help. My group wanted to go to ATM WHILE on an excursion to our next one & he made it so that we were on time for our next activity but still got to the ATM. He also told the best Jamaican history stories. While on the road, Senior stopped along the way to explain some history which was really great. We used Senior for 3 days out of 5/6 days we stayed. Not including the free round trip to the airport. (We also even bought a couple more round trips to the airport since we had 3 different departure groups) Money/budget: budget was realistic for us. But honestly, if I could do it “right” I’d ask everyone for the suggest amount that Darrell suggested in the Airbnb description box. Not only does it provide the staff to do more for you sooner, but it also allows a nice cushion for you just in case you need them to do more. Excursions: do them all! Don’t do them all on the same day lol. But do as much and as many as you can. But also, don’t forget to enjoy this villa because it’s an experience within itself. Extras: we also did spa day. This was AMAZING. So relaxing and worth it. And worth doing the last few days. The 15% expected tip is necessary. We also gave some tip on the side. Folks should understand that some staff live on the property but they did NOT bother us in anyway. In fact, when Johnston wasn’t around, he was missed . 100/10 stay. Would stay again if the same staff/driver is there
The home is beautiful, the staff is amazing. The chef is better than a lot of the surrounding restaurants. I would stay here every trip to Jamaica.
Mais Oui Tennis and Spa Villa is absolutely the most amazing resort experience. The facilities, staff and food are spectacular. The service is 5 Star +, without question. I am looking forward to returning with my family in the very near future.
Our family of 16 including 5 children spent 5 days at Mais Oui and we had the most amazing stay! Upon arrival, we were greeted with cold drinks along with cooling towels which we all gladly welcomed because it was such a hot day. The lovely staff introduced themselves and our luggage was taken to our rooms. We got a tour of the property so we would get a feel of all it had to offer. Once we settled in a bit, Darrell the owner called to personally welcome us and to make sure we pleased and happy so far, and we were! Mr. Johnson, the butler was exceptional, he worked very hard to make sure our stay was memorable. He did a phenomenal job! Chef Shonda prepared delicious meals. The house keeper made sure our rooms were in tip top shape every day. The staff was great! Thumbs up to all of them! No complaints. The property was immaculate and we felt very safe. Mr. Senior the driver will not disappoint. I highly recommend him for any excursions. He is very knowledgeable,very helpful, friendly and professional. We also felt very safe on our tour with him. I highly recommend this villa and everyone in the group including the children share the same sentiment!

We just had our Annual Girls Trip in Jamaica! Our stay at Mais Oui Villa was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted our group and maintained a superb level of excellence. Our every need was anticipated and met. Everything we needed was right there, from the Butler service, Chef, Housekeeping and Grounds maintenance. The in ground pool and separate lounge areas were definite highlights! I highly recommend this resort, and plan to visit again in the future! Hats off to the entire staff there.

Me and my friends stayed there a week ago and everything was amazing from the looks of the house, the great staff, amazing food, and great transportation system & driver by the name of Senior. This place was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay! Johnson and the whole housing staff are awesome people!!!!
When I was there I felt like a millionaire it is the best hotel and when I go to other hotels they don't have any manners but Mais Oui does.
We had a fantastic time visiting here and had more than enough room for the 14 people in our group. The property is packed with activities and entertainment options, which made for great days hanging out at the property between excursions. The owners were always responsive and informative from the preparation stage through our return. Highly recommend the property if you're visiting Jamaica.
Great home and great guidance from the chef and the day workers! They took care of all of our needs from A 2 Z! Beach was a 5 min walk, dinners were delicious, views from the balconies were amazing as well! House is a bit far from everything but Senior is the best driver in town! Highly recommend staying here !
The most professional staff. I love this place because it has everything to satisfy the needs of our group especially during this time of social distancing. It was a very great experience. When I come to Jamaica with five or more people I always choose Mais Ouis. Thanks to the staff for going above and beyond always 🤗
This place is beautiful, booked small, private wedding here and the location was beautiful, the staff was excellent. The most relaxing stay I have ever had anywhere.
Very nice Villa. There were 11 of us and we had a great time. So much to do in the Villa. Staff was very good. Chef cooked delicious meals. We had authentic Jamaican dishes. It was great to have meals together as a family and the service was great. Mixed drinks were made on demand. Place was very clean. The outside areas were very well kept. I was surprised how much work went into maintaining the inside but also the outside areas. This is a small professional resort that met our needs. They took care of us but was also very respectful to ensure we had privacy. Senior (our driver) was very professional, always early for pick-up. Everyone enjoyed his company. The bus was clean, roomy, and plenty comfortable with the AC keeping us cool. He taught us some history of Jamaica while on our way to our destinations. We told him where we wanted to go and without hesitation he would coordinate the most efficient way to get to our excursions. He ensured we were in areas that were safe, even when we wanted to stop at locations that were on way to the excursions. Highly recommend.
With that new renovated look this place is simply awesome, an oasis that must be discovered.

From breakfast to dinner to late night pool dips and karaoke, there was nothing that wasn’t at our fingertips. The property is simply immaculate. The photos don’t do it justice. The chef on site (shaunna!) was creative and the food was spectacular. Our butler Michael seemed to anticipate our every move. The house attendant Max was ever the delight! This trip made me realize I’ve been vacationing wrong. This was my first real vacation and unless the villa disappears into the night, we’ll be back every year!

So how do you begin on a review of the most amazing birthday vacation ever, with Darrell of course. The plannings for my 50th birthday began with Darrell 16 months prior to the actual trip. Darrell was fantastic super patient, quick to respond to any questions or concerns and had lots of suggests to make my trip amazing. Then we got there; WOW words can't begin to describe how amazing this house and the staff are. Everything was so far beyond our expectations that everyone in our party was stunned as to how we got to stay at someplace so beyond description. It was so relaxing that no one even wanted to leave to adventure that is how awesome this place is. The staff went so far above and beyond to make everyday a different adventure. They were always there if we needed something but were never in the way. Now let's talk about Dillon and Perry those two made the entire trip what it was. Dillon always had a smile on his face and kept the drinks coming, we made it our goal to see how many times a day we could make him laugh. Then there is Perry the cook, this man is a wonder in the kitchen. We wanted to eat authentic Jamaican and every single meal was something different, and the smells in the house to die for. We were so excited to see what he would cook up for us next that we couldn't wait for the next meal. Perry was also kind enough to let us in the kitchen for some cooking lessons and share some of his recipes. Giving me his number so if I got stuck I could call and he would walk me through it. Who does that right? Then there was my birthday dinner on the roof, once again amazing food and the wish lantern was so much fun and full of laughs. We ate somewhere different on the property every night and every meal the table was decorated with fresh flowers. I can not thank Darrell and the staff at Mais Oui enough for the best birthday a girl could ask for. I have sang your praises from the roof top and shared your site with anyone who will listen to me. I can't wait to come back and bring my kids. Thanks again.

We loved Mais Oui! I planned a surprise 40th celebration for my husband with lifelong friends and spouses. Not only is the property beautiful, but is it the people who make it special. The house is like a grand house in the Caribbean- so you feel like are a part of the island. The house is well furnished and has anything you could want if you want to chill in the hot tub, or have an impromptu dance party near the pool or Netflix and chill on the outdoor movie area (so cool!) I highly recommend! Shout outs- Dillon, the house manager who is so nice and ready to keep the rum punch, pina coladas coming- and just helps with anything- he goes above and beyond! Chef Perry- we said he must have an old woman inside his young body because this man put his whole foot in his meals. Mac and Natesha, keep the ship running including keeping everything clean and tidy. Ms Pat- who said you aren't going home with dirty clothes and lovingly kept her promise, Brent- while quiet kept the ground in immaculate shape and we always felt safe. Last but not least, Senior with Triple S Tours. He arranged for a private boat charter which included a private beach and water fall (with the best jerk and festival), plus a tour of the real Jamaica and a visit to the Blue Hole (Island Gully Falls). This is a trip we will never forget and ALL of us- 11 people, were extremely happy. We felt like lifestyles of the rich and famous! THIS was that trip!

So I have to thank the Owner and staff for a wonderful stay at Mais Oui Villa. I went in preparation for my wedding and had a rehearsal dinner there. It was a great stay at the place, it was clean and and well taken care of. My guests were impressed with the space and how helpful the Staff was. Dillon, Julie, and Mack along with the CHEF, who put his food in the food, were amazing along with all the other staff. My rehearsal dinner went great and even the staff tried to help alleviate my stress at times. The driver Senior was so understanding and helpful that entire week as well. I would definitely stay again with a large party. The only sad part was the location which was 40 mins to an hour from Ocho Rios which seemed to have everything. It got expensive to travel to and from places but if you just want to enjoy Jamaica on a paradise and stay in with a group or family this would be ideal. I wish i could pick it up and put it near Ocho rios because it was way better than other villas i saw there. Overall a great experience with a very professional team of people to make us feel welcome to Jamaica. I was sad to leave and even disappointed when i went to a resort for our honeymoon and it could not compete. Thanks again for making it a special stay!
We had a group of 10 at the villa and our stay was fabulous. The villa is beautiful and spacious and impeccable but it is the staff that makes everything tick. A shout out to Dillion (head of house), Mackeva (butler), Perry (chef), Miss Audrey (head housekeeper), Julie (assistant housekeeper), Dezroy (groundskeeper), Miss Pet (laundress) for running a tight ship. We had anything we needed and everything we wanted. This was truly a five star experience.
