Thursday Evening: Welcome Gathering and Movie Night
Family and friends arrived at Mais Oui Villa on Thursday evening, excited to kick off the birthday festivities.
We greeted them with welcome drinks and a casual dinner, giving everyone a chance to settle in, relax, and catch up.
After dinner, the group gathered for a fun-filled movie and games night. It was the perfect way for everyone to unwind, get to know each other better, and enjoy some light-hearted competition and laughs as they played board games and watched movies.
Friday: Spa and Beach Day
Friday was all about relaxation and pampering. Savannah and her friends were treated to a luxurious spa day right at the villa which they thoroughly enjoyed.
While they were enjoying their spa treatments, the adults had the opportunity to lounge by the pool, take a stroll through the beautiful gardens, or simply relax and enjoy the villa’s serene ambiance.
After spa, the group headed on a beach outing to Puerto Seco Beach Club, one of the premier beach clubs on Jamaica’s north coast, where they enjoyed the use of the villa’s membership.
The guests spent the day swimming and enjoying the pristine sandy beach. The club’s amenities ensured that everyone had a fantastic time.
That evening, the villa’s chef fired up the grill for a casual dinner under the stars. Guests enjoyed a delicious spread of grilled favorites.
The relaxed atmosphere set the stage for an evening of fun and laughter. Some enjoyed having a night swim in the pool and jacuzzi while others played pool and table tennis.
It was a night filled with music, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Saturday Morning: Beach Day at Puerto Seco Beach Club
After a restful Friday, everyone was ready for some fun in the sun. Saturday morning after breakfast was spent at Puerto Seco. It was the perfect way to soak up the Jamaican sun and build excitement for the evening’s main event.
Saturday Evening: The Sweet 16 Birthday Celebration
The highlight of the weekend was, of course, Savannah’s Sweet 16 birthday party.
Theme and Decor
Savannah’s favorite colors, aqua and white, set the tone for the evening. The villa’s tennis garden was transformed into a semi-formal dining area, adorned with elegant decor that created a sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance.
Menu Selection
For dinner, we crafted a delicious buffet menu featuring a creamy pumpkin soup, rosemary roasted chicken, fish filet in a light coconut sauce, jasmine rice, and seasonal vegetables. To top it off, dessert was a decadent vanilla and strawberry cake served with Jamaica’s famous Devon House I’Scream.
A Night Full of Surprises and Entertainment
As the sun set, the evening festivities truly began. Angela had arranged for a special performance by a talented fire dancer, who captivated everyone with a breathtaking display of skill and artistry. It was a show-stopping moment that left Savannah and her friends in awe, adding an unforgettable element of excitement to the night.
