Over the past five years, we’ve been thoughtfully upgrading the villa — room by room, detail by detail — to offer an even more comfortable, beautiful, and memorable experience for our guests.

What’s New at Mais Oui Villa – A Five-Year Journey of Transformation

The journey began in 2021 with a major landscaping redesign that’s still the talk of returning guests.

From lush tropical gardens to a hidden garden within the garden, the grounds were reimagined to inspire relaxation and connection with nature.

Next came our collaboration with a talented Jamaican wood artist to create custom furniture for the bedrooms. Each piece was crafted with intention — combining function and form in a way that’s uniquely Mais Oui.

This year, we completed a major renovation of the bathrooms, bringing a new level of spa-like serenity to each suite.

And just last month, we unveiled our most exciting update yet…

Suite Mais Oui: The New Crown Jewel

Our signature suite now features a soaking tub centerpiece, elegant wood details, and a refreshed layout perfect for couples seeking a romantic escape. The transformation still needs a few finishing touches but so far, it is breathtaking, combining modern luxury with timeless Caribbean charm.

Flexible Rooms, Thoughtful Configurations

We understand that not every group travels the same way. Whether you’re a couple, a group of friends, or a multi-generational family, our rooms are designed to flex with your needs:

• Blue Mahoe
  Two double beds – perfect for friends or teens sharing a room

• Red Ginger
  Two queen beds – ideal for siblings, girlfriends, or moms and daughters

• The Library Room
  A king bed that can convert to two twins, plus a full-size bed – ideal for a parent with kids or a trio of travelers

• Green Lime, Orange Sunset, and Papaya I & II
  All have king beds that can convert to twins – great for couples or singles sharing space

Except for Suite Mais Oui, all rooms can accommodate two separate beds — no need to share if you don’t want to.

This makes Mais Oui perfect for retreats, girlfriend trips, birthday groups, or any occasion where togetherness is key but everyone still wants their own space.

Turning Setbacks into Silver Linings

In July 2024, Hurricane Beryl caused unexpected damage to our iconic central skylight.

At first, it felt like a setback — but what emerged was something extraordinary.

The rebuilt skylight has become one of our favorite features in the villa: more beautiful, more light-filled, and a symbol of resilience and renewal. A true silver lining.
